As an independently owned firm, we are free to design and implement our own guidelines and philosophy without the influence and complications that a larger parent company can often bring. What follows are a few of our guiding values and principles which we believe are essential in successful wealth management.
Whilst we might be the experts when it comes to wealth management, we know that only you are the expert on your own finances and circumstance. We believe that in order to get the most from your finances a collaborative approach is a must. Moreover, an ongoing relationship is essential in order that we may adapt your plan to match your continually changing and evolving financial circumstances. In short, we aim to build a mutually beneficial partnership rather than to simply provide a service.

Meet The Team
Paul Angell DipFA
Paul, a founding partner of Georgetown Wealth Management, has 30 years of experience within the wealth management industry having been a financial adviser since 1988. After 9 years with Standard Life, Paul formed a very successful firm Reid Scott & Ross Ltd in 1997, throughout which he performed the role of Managing Director until its acquisition by Bellpenny in 2014. Paul remained at Bellpenny until 2016 in order to ensure a smooth transition following the takeover, before leaving to set up Georgetown Wealth Management.
Paul holds a BSc in Mathematics from Glasgow University, a diploma in financial planning and the more advanced financial planning qualification for G60 Pensions. His success within the industry is due to his hardworking, client-focused and honest approach to business. As his clients will testify, Paul is organised and reliable. When asked what he enjoyed about the job most, he said meeting and forming successful relationships with clients, and revisiting them over the years that follow.
Paul has been married to his wife Sharon for 26 years and have three children together. In his spare time he enjoys going to the gym and watching football, and as a huge fan of music when he isn’t playing his guitar he is listening to music instead!
Ann has over twenty years’ experience working for Independent Financial Advice firms of various sizes throughout Scotland and England. She has worked at all levels of the industry from administrative roles to helping to set up and run IFA practices. Ann has in the past specialised in pensions and compliance, known for her attention to detail and priding herself in her technical abilities. Currently, she is working towards obtaining her Chartered Financial Planning status.
In her spare time, Ann enjoys socialising with friends, singing, or staying active through cycling, swimming, and badminton.
Sales Support Executive
Lindsay has over 16 years experience in the financial services industry working for one of the leading international Pension and Investment providers. Before joining Georgetown Wealth Management, Lindsays’ main role was focused on providing customer services across all pension products, primarily platform based new business. Her main area of expertise is centred around SIPP business however has knowledge on all other pension contracts too.
Lindsay also has many years’ experience dealing with Life and Investment products. Lindsay spends most of her spare time socialising with friends and going to the gym. She also enjoys walking and over the past few years has participated in many organised walks to raise money for charity.
